n December 15th, the Missionary Sisters of St. Benedict prepared a performance that highlighted the spiritual significance of Christmas. All who witnessed this production walked away enlightened and ever mindful of the greatest gifts given and, yet, remain — Charity, Faith, and Hope!
The Christmas Show showcased a remarkable display of grace through various accounts of the Birth of Jesus and the Nativity scene. Hands clapped and smiles were shared as the attendees were reminded of God’s greatness and greatest Gift given in the form of Jesus.
20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[a] because he will save his people from their sins.”
22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”[b] (which means “God with us”)–Matthew 1:20-23
During this special season, The Missionary Sisters of St. Benedict and St. Joseph’s Home For the Aged’s staff, volunteers, residents and their families will like to wish you and yours a Very, Merry Christmas!
